Hi, I'm danny Agnew

(or just, you know, scroll down)

i'm a creative director. on my better days, anyway.

Essentially, this means that I think up and make weird stuff for a living. Editorial and branded content, design and branding, event concepts, even the occasional bit of apparel.

I like to think I'm pretty good at it. At least, good enough that some pretty great people have trusted me with their valuable time and bucks to do it for them.

And I'd like to do it for you too, if you're into it.

How'd I get into thinking up and making weird stuff? Funny you should ask!

my story

my schoolin'

I went to film school at the University of Southern California, where I was exposed to all kinds of crazy people and influences. I became obsessed with storytelling and made several now-semi-embarrassing student films, including one starring my buddy Brian as a serial killer.

my first company

In 2006, I co-founded the clothing line Kid Dangerous, making smartassy t-shirts in a friend's garage. Today, Kid Dangerous is carried everywhere from Bloomingdale's to Nordstrom and has been worn by all kinds of famous folks like Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr., which I think is bragable.

You can check out Kid D's site here, or peruse these nifty images from shoots we've done below.

my current gig

In 2012, I was brought onboard as one of two founding editors of men's lifestyle publication InsideHook — responsible for everything from the editorial direction to the voice to the look and feel of the brand.

Today, InsideHook has almost a million subscribers, over a million monthly readers online, and has worked with some of the best advertisers in the luxury space.

Check out our work, I think you'll dig it.
